In 2018, our Guangzhou R&D center and Nanjing R&D center were successively established, focusing on the research and development of busway products and intelligent components.

In 2016, we renamed as Wetown Electric Group Co.,Ltd. In April, we won the honor of "the most influential brand in China's electric appliance industry 2015";In July, Wetown Electric and GE Digital Group reached a cooperation agreement on "Industrial Internet + Intelligent Manufacturing". In December, the "Digital Industrial Transformation Project" jointly created by Wetown Electric and GE was launched.

In 2015, we established the first busway research institute in the industry, including material research institute, product research institute, advanced manufacturing institute and test center.

In 2013, Wetown Electric (International) Co., Ltd. was established and completed the strategic restructuring of MM Powerplus company. The busbar factory of Yangzhong base was successfully expanded, and marked our further expansion the international market.

In 2010, our subsidiary, Jiangsu Wetown New Material Technology Co., LTD., was established to explore and develop the market of photovoltaic welding belt industry and achieved initial success.

In 2008, the subsidiary of Jiangsu Wetown Copper Industry Co., Ltd. was established, opening the upstream industry chain and expanding the company's cost advantage; In the same year, the LV sandwich type series busway independently developed by Wetown were successfully developed.

In 2007, we established a strategic partnership with GE, realized the transformation from product manufacturing to product innovation, and since then, we actively expanded international markets.

In 2006, the first busway research institute and performance laboratory in the busway industry was established, dedicated to the research and development and testing of busway products, demonstrating the strong R&D and testing strength.

In 2004, we set up a professional company focusing on busway research and development, manufacturing and sales, and developing out LM series sandwich type system with aluminum housing.

In 1986, we began to develop, manufacture and promote busway products, and the first generation of air insulated reinforced busway was successfully launched.
